Went in and was seen, prescribed a antibiotic, 4 days after being on it, it has not been affective. So I called in thinking, as any other normal doctor would normally do, they would be able to prescribe something different without me having to drive 30 minutes with severe headaches due to the spider bite, but no I was told no because it was a different doctor. We have been here three times. My husband and I found Dr. Jerald Carr to be thorough in his exam/evaluation. As a retired nurse have the utmost respect for him. He is very pleasant, personable and approachable. He explains what he diagnosed and why he recommends a particular treatment. Mutual respect is paramount and he had that for his patients. He also takes time for questions and concerns. You never feel that you are bothering him. We always feel confident and comfortable in his assessment when we leave. Most of the physicians we see nowadays seem to be primarily interested in prescribing medications for your symptoms and not getting to the cause, nor listening to the patient. He is definitely an oasis of quality in a desert of mediocrity.

I have always had wonderful service here at Mercy Urgent Care. Whether it's been for my daughter or myself. I went it one night after work an hour before they closed and just a day or 2 before Christmas with Pink eye. Dr. Jeral Carr saw me right away diagnosed my pink eye and prescribed me what I needed. Fast and efficient. I've recently been in for my daughter due to a virus and the entire staff went above and beyond to make my 4 year old feel safe and comfortable. I have a broken tooth and my dentist just told me when I called last week that they no longer accept my dental insurance after being there patient for 10yrs. The front desk and nurse were very pleasant. It was laid back and easy for someone not feeling well to be integrated into the treatment needed. I was very pleased with my PA, Mr Carr...I could actually hear him engaging and communicating with a young patient next door to me in the cubicle where you eventually meet him. He was intelligent, engaging, listened to me, as I know my body better than anyone. Not overbearing and most importantly, knowledgeable and genuinely concerned. He did I think, all he could do. It was a great visit, and I can't say enough about the comfortability of the visit. I'll be going back as needed. It was also OPEN at lunch time. I can't understand other clinics closing fir an hour. That's highly inconvenient.
